In 1982 we began our business as Design Photo Service, Inc. by providing professional photographers in Western New York with the highest quality film processing and printing.
We have changed quite a bit over the years. In 1998, Digital Imaging was introduced with the installation of our Kodak LED printer and the Repri retouching system and has since moved forward rapidly. In 2000 we upgraded our LED to gen II to enable us to give you the best possible digital printing quality along with the HR500 scanner and Kodak's DP2 Professional Software. As the demand grew for Digital Output in 2003 we installed the Kodak RP-30 laser technology printer to better meet the Professional Photographer's needs.
When Digital Imaging became a major link to our business, it was time to choose a new name that better described our services, so in 2000 we changed our name to Galaxy Professional Imaging, Inc.
We are the same professional lab with a different name. Our promise of high-quality products, service and technology is the key to our success. We are committed to all the changes and challenges the new century has to offer.
We are the proud recipient of numerous “Gallery Awards” presented by The Eastman Kodak Company for our outstanding achievement of print making and excellence in Photographic Art.
